Studio M is a rental photography studio located in East Belleville, Illinois only a mile away from SWIC. On site, Studio M features three fully equipped photography studios, ready to be used by local photographers.
Available to rent by the hour, Studio M is an affordable way to shoot your sessions indoors instead of battling our Midwest weather. From the hot-sticky summers to the icy winters, you've got more than a few reasons to get out of the elements and start shooting some sessions indoors. Rain out? No problem. Keep your day running smoothly by bringing your sessions inside. Our large studio space with ample window light is perfect for large family groups. Our smaller studios are ideal for newborn sessions where climate control is a MUST. And our props and background selection makes getting more variety in your senior sessions a breeze. Cut your shooting time in half by shooting them inside where you can get a wide variety of looks without driving all over.
How to Book: Our online calendar will make it easy for you to book your session while you've got your client on the phone. And you'll easily be able to tell what dates and camera rooms are open at a glance.
Who can book: Professional photographers, students, and anyone who enjoys photography as a hobby. Stay at home mom with a decent DSLR? Why take your kids to portrait innovations then pay a ton for mediocre images you when you KNOW you could have done better yourself. Save money by renting one of our studios for and hour and photographing your kiddos yourself!
Studio Features:
Reception: Our reception area is spacious and contemporary, solidly establishing you as a cutting edge professional in the eyes of your clients. Leave a stack of your business cards at the front desk so walk-in traffic can find you! Members can leave a brochure, flyer, and/or postcard as well.
Studios: Studio M features three camera rooms fully equipped with studio strobes (flash), and continuous lights. One of the studios has an entire wall of full length windows, perfect for natural light photographers. All three studios have several backdrops and props ready to use at no extra charge.
Storage: Our storage area in the back will have an even more backgrounds and props that you can use for your sessions. Simply pick out a few before your session and set them up in your rented Bedroom Suiteefore your clients arrive. And if you'd like to leave some of your own props at the studio for your future sessions, you can leave them in a special area off-limits to other photographers. Eventually we plan on having lockers to keep your props even more secure.
Sales Room: Wow your clients in our projection/sales room when you show off the images you captured for them on a big screen. It's also a great space to meet with a potential wedding clients to show off your sample albums and work.
Gallery: Our reception area and hallways will be the perfect place to display a few of your best images. Depending on your monthly plan you could have 1-5 images on display for a full 6 months at a time. Window space will be allotted to those photographers booking our top plans for the best visibility.
Restrooms: We have both client and employee restrooms available.
